DNA Forensic Consultants, LLC offers comprehensive review of case work during all phases of DNA testing and analysis. Working with either prosecutors or defense attorneys in the early phases of the investigation, we can identify key pieces of evidence and applicable controls which must be tested. The choice of DNA test panels will also be reviewed and approved prior to testing.

If the testing has been completed and a report generated, we will begin by reviewing all of the internal documents of the case, in order to ensure that the final report is supported by the work actually performed.
This is usually followed by an on-site visit to perform a thorough review of the laboratory's standard operating procedures in order to determine if the laboratory has performed the tests according to currently accepted standards of scientific practice.
If discrepancies are found, we will advise the attorney of the problem, provide court-preparation support and expert testimony, as needed.
